GROUP CLASSES All classes are limited to no more than twelve (12) students/dogs. Classes are offered days, evenings and weekends at ABC Dog Training LLC* in Escondida (just two miles north of Socorro). Written materials and training logs are provided in most classes. The instructor is available by telephone or e-mail for questions and assistance between class sessions.

For registration forms please click here. Puppy Antics: this is an ongoing drop in class for puppies between 10 weeks and 16 weeks. Puppies must have received at least one set of vaccinations. Class covers house manners, introduction to obedience, socialization, developing a relationship between you and your puppy and how to prevent future problems - $7.50 plus tax per class. Companion Dog I Class:
Companion Dog II Class: This ten week class will build on skills learned and will include teaching a retrieve, a down in motion and more. Dogs must have successfully completed a ten week Companion Dog I class or demonstrate equivalent skills - $125.00 plus tax. Companion Dog III Class: This ten week class will teach scent discrimination, signal exercises and more. Dogs must have successfully completed a Companion Dog II class - $125.00 plus tax. Two for the Road: This class is designed for walkers who want to make their dog an exercise partner. Training and Conditioning your canine partner will give you and your dog the information and skills you need to get the most out of your regular walk. Trail etiquette and safety are also covered in class. Thirty-minute class meets twice a week for five weeks (ten sessions total) - $105.00 includes tax and equipment.
The Magical Maze Class: This six week class is an introduction to agility and will introduce all of the agility obstacles. This is a great class for shy dogs as it builds confidence. Dogs must have basic obedience skills - $75.00 plus tax. The Magical Maze II Class: This six week class begins to sequence obstacles, teaches directions and covers handling and distance work. Dogs must have successfully completed a Magical Maze class or Agility workshop and must be able to work off-leash - $75.00 plus tax. More Magical Mazes: Drop in class to work on handling and sequencing obstacles. $7.00 / session Incantations & Spells Class: This is a four week class designed to improve your handling skills, obedience and relationship with your dog. It will prepare you for the Rally Novice level although you do not need to intend to compete to take this class. Just come and have fun. Dogs must have basic obedience skills - $50.00 plus tax. Incantations & Spells II: This is a four week class that adds more incantations and spells to those already learned. It will prepare you for the Rally Advanced level although you do not need to intend to compete to take this class. Just come and have fun. Dogs must be able to work off-leash - $50.00 plus tax. More Incantations & Spells: Drop in class to work on improving your skills. $7.00 / session
